Compassion in action.
Hope for every community.

We are a Christ-centred humanitarian ministry serving vulnerable individuals and underserved communities with practical help, emotional and spiritual support, and pathways toward lasting independence.

Our Mission

Empowering lives and transforming communities through Christ-centred, compassionate outreach.

Serving openly and compassionately — help is never conditional on joining the faith or the ministry.

Who we are

Serving with faith, dignity, and compassion

SOCMI exists to reflect the love of Christ through service. We respond to immediate needs while working toward sustainable solutions in housing, livelihoods, education, mentorship, and community development. Every person we serve should be treated with respect, listened to with care, and supported without coercion.

Dignity first

We portray every person with respect. No one is reduced to a stereotype or a story of helplessness.

Service without condition

SOCMI seeks to do more than meet an immediate need.

Honesty about stage

We clearly separate the work we do today from the programmes we are building for tomorrow.

Accountability

We aim to be transparent about partnerships, safeguarding, and how every gift is used.

Why we are here

A mission to serve. A vision for what comes next.

Mission

Empowering lives and transforming communities through Christ-centred, compassionate outreach.

Vision

Empowering lives and spreading joy through compassionate outreach by providing financial, emotional, and spiritual support to people who are poor, vulnerable, or experiencing abuse.

Our approach

From immediate relief to lasting opportunity

Meeting today's need matters. So does helping people build tomorrow. SOCMI's vision is to combine practical relief with skills, relationships, and opportunities that benefit entire communities.

Listen

Understand the needs and strengths of each community.

Respond

Connect people with appropriate aid, care, and resources.

Build

Develop partnerships and opportunities for sustainable progress.

The aim is not only to give fish to the hungry, but to teach people to fish — and, living out the love of Christ, to inspire fishers of men.
