Service should demonstrate the love of Christ without making assistance conditional on joining the ministry or the faith.

Biography

Justina Osagie is the founder and CEO of Soldiers of Christ Ministries International. Her commitment to serving vulnerable people is rooted in her own childhood experience of worrying about access to basic human necessities. That experience shaped a deep empathy for people facing hardship and a conviction that followers of Christ should reflect His love through practical care.

Her experience spans paid and voluntary service. Through work in the care industry, Justina supported vulnerable older adults, including people who felt overlooked or anxious about the future. She sought to help each person feel valued, offering reassurance and, when welcomed and appropriate, spiritual encouragement.

For more than thirteen years, Justina has also participated in Christian outreach and evangelism. Her service has included work connected with homeless people, a rehabilitation centre, a soup kitchen, and a food bank at Liberty Church Rotherham, as well as outreach at St Andrew's. Her wider community work has included volunteering to teach cooking and fashion and design classes for the Mama Africa community group.

Now, drawing on her lived experience, ministry, care work, counselling training, and community service, Justina leads SOCMI with an initial focus on Nigeria. Her vision is to build sustainable projects that meet immediate needs while helping communities develop lifelong skills. She believes service should demonstrate the love of Christ without making assistance conditional on joining the ministry or the faith.
